Emily’s favorite part of her job is bringing complex spreadsheets and evaluations to life for executives. Why? Because these decision-makers shape current operations, future business opportunities, and the daily experiences of the team members who represent FedEx Express® in over 220 countries and territories.

Prior to joining FedEx Express® in 2011, Emily was a Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting the US Navy. She also worked in Germany at the Derivatives part of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

A Memphis, TN native, Emily holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and an International M.B.A. from the University of Memphis. When she’s not telling stories with numbers, Emily is either on a tennis court or having fun with her husband, daughter, and son.


Emily’s experience and advice for how FedEx Express has handled 2020 left us inspired with some great takeaways, including:

  • Be agile - what worked yesterday will not necessarily work for tomorrow - so continue to push yourself and your team for “what’s next”
  • Have your team to review the data and make data-driven and proactive recommendations
