Our Team Is Growing Intern-ally
At the start of 2018, we launched our newly designed internship program. We flipped the switch and gave our program an overhaul so that we can provide an experience with real value. It’s not that our program wasn’t successful in the past, but we knew we could do better.
Our new stance allows us to restructure how we run our program. Now, we have weekly team check-in meetings and weekly one-on-one meetings with the intern coaches. And we’re delegating work that’s both meaningful to our interns’ professional growth and RC’s internal marketing. Aside from daily to-do’s, we push our interns to get involved with the office culture - play some ping-pong, hang out with the office dogs, and grab a bite to eat with a coworker or two.
The new program is still in its youth, but we’re concentrating on making it amazing. We’ve hired two new interns this winter, and we’d like you to meet them!
Albert recently joined the RC team as our Graphic Design Intern. At Red Caffeine, he hopes to build off of his previous internship experience by being fully immersed in our newly revitalized internship program. He has a passion for branding and wants to help the people he works with by participating in initiatives beyond creating graphics. At RC, he plans on drinking copious amounts of tea (which meets the caffeine “requirements” even though it’s not coffee) and creating an awesome body of work with the design team.
Outside of work and school, you can find him longboarding (weather permitted) around the city or cooped up inside on his fourth straight hour of playing Overwatch.
Paige joined RC at the start of 2018 as our Social Media and Content Intern. She came to the team with a background in social media, a passion for branding, and an addiction to coffee. Her main focus is drafting catchy content for Red Letter, creating a strong social media presence for RC, and working on her ping-pong game.
In May 2018, Paige will graduate with a B.A. in Communication and a B.A. in Spanish. By combining her school and previous internship experience, she hopes to make an impact on RC’s internal marketing strategies.
She is a fan of beer, especially cider and Miller High Life, and all things coffee-related. She can quote any Gilmore Girls episode and is a travel and HGTV enthusiast.
