With all of the technology that is available, it is effortless to quickly snap and upload a photo on a cell phone. More and more real estate brokers were taking this route when advertising their listed homes. VHT Studios wanted to break into new markets and show their audience the benefits of tapping into a professional photography company versus the DIY approach. VHT’s goal was to generate more leads within their desired new markets.

Solution

The first step to new market entry was to strategize the most effective ways to promote the VHT brand and get their message in front of the right audience. Our strategy involved creating a themed campaign that would give VHT the competitive standpoint they needed to get ahead of the competition. Additional research uncovered the hook we needed. Statistics proved that listings with professional photos sold up to 32% faster. With this information, we designed the campaign messaging theme, “Go With a Pro,” to encourage brokers to utilize professional photography services.

To digitally promote the campaign, we designed a microsite that generated leads via email. The site conveyed VHT’s mission and showed off their best work. The microsite was promoted through pay-per-click (PPC) ads, GIF ads and in various real estate magazines. Once consumers were directed to the microsite, they were prompted to enter their email and zip code. The site would then give consumers examples of past photo sessions near their zip code and information on local photography packages and their pricing.

Result

The Go With a Pro campaign ran for almost two years, doubling in brand awareness and lead generation. The advertisements and microsite promoted the VHT brand by conveying the value a professional real estate photography company brings to brokers. Go With a Pro drove positive feedback and significant results within the first six months, and through email marketing and the microsite, VHT was able to build a substantial prospect list and generate awareness within each of their new markets.
